Here, one is welcome to unwind and enjoy Nature’s gifts unfettered by civilization. Jungle Lodges and Resorts offers you an experience of a lifetime where you can only expect the unexpected, the untamed and the unexplored.

At the K. Gudi (Kyathadevara Gudi) Wilderness Camp, you are in nature’s lap. Here dawn is greeted by the chirping melody of birds; and nights lit by hurricane lamps, all adding to the delightful experience amidst a perfect jungle setting. Create your own ambience and revel in the spirit of freedom!

Accomodation

Accommodation at K.Gudi Wilderness Camp is clean, comfortable, homely, non-ostentatious and merges with the surrounding environment. The C
amp has eight twin bedded tented cottages, three log huts and four well-furnished rooms at the Maharaja’s Hunting Lodge. K.Gudi can easily accommodate 35 to 40 guests at a time and also provides an ideal setting for hosting meetings and conferences.

Activities

The K.Gudi Camp is located inside the Biligiri Ranganna Temple Wildlife Sanctuary and thus becomes the base for the various wildlife expeditions into the Park. Jeep rides, with trained naturalists to interpret the sightings, are the major attraction of the camp. We take guests twice into the forest everyday, once at dawn and once just before dusk.
Trekking inside the Sanctuary is another exciting activity that the camp offers its guests. There are many well-marked trails leading out of the camp, which offer various degrees of physical challenge. Trekking offers a plethora of wildlife viewing opportunities and bird watchers would be delighted at the number of birds one can sight in these trails.
Evenings are for unwinding after a “hard day’s work”. Sit around a campfire or watch a wildlife movie at the audio-visual room.
Drinks and snacks can be served from our well-stocked bar.
We offer much more if you stay on …
Though you may find even one night's stay enjoyable, we recommend that you stay for several days. We can show you much more. Watch the nimble hands of the workers at the coffee estate, view a panoramic sunset from a mountain top, visit the Biligiri Ranganathaswamy Temple, and discover the kingdom of butterflies and insects. Carry on with your safari and trekking to many different areas… or simply take a snooze on a hammock, amidst the chirping of birds. Or just read on and finish your favorite book !

The commonly sighted animals are leopard, elephant, tiger, gaur, wild dog, sloth bear, barking deer, spotted deer, sambar, wild boar, porcupine, python, Malabar giant squirrel, to name a few.
